A playful expression of 1980s jewellery design, this vintage Parture watch was created with versatility at its heart. Complete with its full original interchangeable bezel set and presentation box, this is a rare surviving example of a concept that transformed a single watch into multiple looks.
At the centre sits a luminous mother-of-pearl dial accented by Roman numeral markers and elegant gold-tone hands. Surrounding it are five original interchangeable bezels, each offering a distinct personality—from crystal-set sparkle to polished metallic finishes and iridescent mother-of-pearl-inspired details. The engraved gold-tone bracelet completes the look, giving the watch the feel of a fine jewellery piece rather than a conventional timepiece.
What makes this piece particularly special is its completeness. Many interchangeable bezel watches have lost individual bezels or their original boxes over time. This example remains accompanied by all five original bezels and its original Parture presentation case, allowing it to be enjoyed exactly as it was intended decades ago.
Produced by Parture, a lesser-known Japanese jewellery watch label of the late twentieth century, this set reflects an era when watches were designed as personal accessories as much as practical timekeepers. A charming vintage piece for those who appreciate jewellery watches, thoughtful design, and the novelty of owning multiple looks within a single watch.
Condition: In very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear on the bracelet consistent with age. The dial remains clean and legible with no visible scratches. Overall presents beautifully on the wrist. Watch is working and running well.
